someday you could have your very own ode on display right here, for everyone to see and admire just how terrific you are, and an excellent guesser as well.

this is fantastic uncle Reed, with his fantastic zooming car, and fantastic trophies. we are all in such awe, the sort when your mouth is stuck open and other people have to come close it for you. how embarrassing.

zooming brother of my father

the legend

it turns out that he was the first (and as far as we know, the only) warrior to perfect the bifurcated vision technique. once he mastered this awesome skill, he could see much more of the battlefield and he became such a formidable opponent that his exploits were commemorated in song throughout the land and his opponents on the battlefield became very afraid of his "evil eye" (hence the phrase). he rose through the ranks to a very high position rather quickly due to his reputation and therefore caught the attention of the court who immediately summoned him hither to reward him for his valor(and, well, they just HAD to see this skill performed first hand). so he traveled hither without so much as one a dally on the way and presented himself. the court was delighted and things were very good for him at first. but as time passed, some of the men of the court became jealous, and of course the ones who were jealous were the most powerful ones, and started making his life miserable. now, this w

where was i? this would have been alright because he was taken by the beauty of the maidens at court and they were fond of his company for he was quick with a quip and sharp of wit (he dressed it every day even before he performed his toilet with the witstone he carried) but there were only two or three of pure enough heart to get past his "oddity" and love him for who he was inside and even they had to turn against him due to court peer pressure. so guglie put in for a commission on the front to heal his broken heart and bid the court farewell. alas, but there was peace in the land which was very good for the land but gave him no work in which to immerse himself and he took to sipping from the goatskin so much he became addled. this caused him to lose control of his bifurcation and the last time he was seen he was standing in the road trying to decide which one to take.

rumors drifted down from the far north of the land that he had taken up a hermitage there and passed his final days in an uneasy peace. the court realised too late what it had done (isn't that always the way?) and commissioned a bust of him doing his most dufficult bifucation in honor of his contribution to the land and as an inspiration to future generations of what can be done when one puts ones mind (and eye) to it. now, can i go out and play?

wow, simply wow. i love the part about guglie standing there deciding which road to take. hahaha!! oh unc, how you lift our spirits and fill us with laughter, all so eloquently as well. we are gracious for your valuable time spent on the lost legend, hunting it down was no doubt difficult, therefore no better man ought to have tried his destiny on such matters.
